Edge of Government Exhibition

The OECD's Observatory of Public Sector Innovation and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation (Dubai) recognized UrbanistAI as one of the top 9 innovative initiatives globally.
For this exhibition, UrbanistAI developed a specialized version of the tool reflecting Dubai's unique environment.
This interactive tool enabled visitors to explore and design future urban scenarios for Dubai on a touchscreen, demonstrating the tool's adaptability and user-friendly interface.

Our team was invited to present the UrbanistAI tool at the Edge of Government exhibition, organized as part of the World Government Summit by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, a department under the Dubai’s Prime Minister’s Office.

The event brings together decision makers, thought leaders, and experts from over 190 countries, to engage in a global discussion and showcase exceptional global government innovations that positively impact the lives of citizens. At the exhibition, the initiatives were presented as a tandem between the service provider and a government that has implemented it.

UrbanistAI participated with the Finnish city of Jyväskylä, which used an early version of the tool to allow residents to visualize their ideas for the regeneration of the city center. UrbanistAI setting included a large touch-screen, in which the exhibition guests created the Dubai city scenarios, and four additional displays showing the AI-generated results in real time.

TAKEAWAYS At the OECD’s global review, UrbanistAI illustrated its effectiveness in public sector innovation through a practical and engaging demonstration.

The tool's application in creating Dubai-specific urban scenarios highlighted its adaptability and user-centric design.

The event showcased UrbanistAI’s user-friendly technology, allowing visitors to design future urban scenarios, highlighting its potential to simplify urban planning and enhance public sector innovation.
